Y&R! Actor Kevin Schmidt, who is twenty years old, has been hired to play Noah Newman, who recently left for summer camp as a twelve year old! When Noah, the son of Sharon Collins Newman Abbott (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), returns on August 13th he will be a young man, no longer a boy. What will this mean for his mother and stepfather, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)? And how will Nick and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) cope with a pair of twenty-something sons to deal with, in addition to their young daughter, Summer?
The actor hired to jump into the role is Kevin Schmidt. He is best known for his role in "Cheaper By the Dozen" and "Cheaper By the Dozen 2", but has also held roles on television in such series as "Numb3rs", "Without A Trace", and "CSI: NY". He currently has a project called "Princess Protection Program" in post-production as well.
Born on August 16th, 1988, Kevin is one of a trio of acting siblings. His brothers Kenneth and Kendall are also in the business.
